Creative movement, pre-ballet and tap steps are introduced through song and dance. Strengthening and stretching exercises are also introduced through creative and fun themes. The art of dance expression is taught through the stories of the great ballets during the first semester.

Beginning ballet positions of the feet, hands, and arms are introduced.

Basic ballet exercises and steps are introduced. Basic tap steps are taught through song and dance.

A complete beginner ballet class is taught two times a week. This level will equip the dancer to progress and

prepare for the higher level classes. Proper execution of steps and technique is stressed along with fun and creativity.
