All of our instructors have been personally taught by Christie Garrett, founder of Dance Academy of Mansfield. They have been specifically trained in the unique structured classes and vision of Dance Academy of Mansfield. Before being given total control of a class, each instructor is carefully monitored and supervised by Christie, until she is satisfied that the instructor is ready take over.

Our students are taught current, innovative dance trends without having to compromise their integrity, something that has become increasingly rare in many dance studios. Through careful teaching methods, our instructors are able to share their love of dance with our students, enabling both parties to relate to and understand one another.

Sometimes the dancers don't know their dance well enough and have to look to their instructor for guidance, the costumes don't fit right, accessories have to be bought or made well, the list can go on and on.

We put on professional, high-quality performances and seek to alleviate all of the stress and worry that a recital can bring. We believe in creating pleasant, happy memories for families and for our students; our recitals are run and managed in such a way that there is no frustration for the student, the parents, etc., and everyone has a good time. Each student has the chance to perform in a professional, high-quality performance, making their important stage experience something they can look forward to.

All costume accessories are included with the costumes, and all of our students know their dances. We have no instructors lurking backstage, prompting our students. We take such attention to detail with each student that even students as young as 3 or 4 have their dances completely memorized. As they're learning their dance routines, we send our students home with copies of their music, so they can practice their dances at home and memorize it even more thoroughly. We want our students to be a credit to themselves, so they look like pros once they are on stage.
